Features Overview

In October 2007, we developed the Project ExCEL program to address the critical needs of at-risk youth and families, which include: a church adopt-a-school initiative, family support services, computer technology, career development, out-of-school time programs and human needs assistance. One of the reasons we have been able to be effective is by partnering with the church and other community organizations to mobilize already existing institutions with measurable change.

PUBLIC SCHOOL OUTREACH

The Primary focus is to promote healthy school and home environments that maximize
students’ success. We provide the following
programs:

• Tutoring
• Mentoring
• Life Skills Workshops
• Back –to- School Events
• Out-of –School Time Camps

Family Movie Night

Provides an opportunity for families to view family- oriented movies in our community. The movie and refreshments are usually FREE.
